About Us

We should all strive to be lifelong learners. Why is it that we focus most of our financial resources to the privileged few who are able to dedicate four years of their lives to institutions of higher learning?

There is no shortage of alternative opportunities to improve people’s lives by funding educational opportunities. To the detriment of our infrastructure, we have overlooked the trades as a viable path for success. We also can improve the reintegration of those returning to society after a long incarceration. Could we have an impact on schoolchildren who become disinterested and whose parents struggle to pay the bills?

Scholarships for Life attempts to break the visors off traditional educational funding by allowing givers to more directly impact those on their learning journey.

Consider a small scholarship of $300. For a student attending university, how much of a difference will that make? It likely won’t even cover the price of the books needed for class, and it won’t change the decision of the student to attend. Trade schools and community colleges are substantially less expensive, and therefore, will have a more valuable impact.
